Betty Busst was having lunch with friends when she got a call from Oranga Tamariki.
She had one hour to collect her 7-month-old grandson Zayden Rich or he’d go into care.
It was “a bit of shock” and changed her retirement plans. At 76, she was raising a toddler on her own.
