OUR GOVERNANCE BOARD
The Kids in Need Waikato Charitable Trust is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Board meets regularly to ensure the smooth running of the Trust by providing strategic leadership and direction.

Amy Banks
Chair
Amy Banks has served as Chair since 2020, following her role as a founding board member from 2018. As co-founder of Tag Business Services, she brings valuable expertise in marketing and business management to the Trust. Amy's leadership has been instrumental in guiding the charity's strategic direction and growth.

Graeme Roil
Trustee
With over 25 years of fostering experience, Graeme co-founded Kids in Need Waikato alongside his wife, Linda. He contributes significantly to the Trust's strategy, governance, and funding efforts. Graeme's extensive governance background includes roles on school boards and as a director for New Zealand Catholic Education entities.

Joel Boyte
Trustee
A Chartered Accountant and co-founder of Tag Business Services, Joel joined the board in 2018. He oversees the Trust's financial records, ensuring transparency and accountability. Joel's financial acumen supports the charity's mission to make a positive impact on children's lives.

Marie Day
Trustee
Marie Day, a long-time Cambridge resident, joined the board after returning from 13 years overseas. Her friendship with Linda Roil, formed at Bunnies Early Learning Centre, led to her deep involvement with the charity. Marie is dedicated to supporting tamariki and their whānau through her role.

Matthew Ockleston
Trustee
Matthew, a property law specialist and partner at Dentons Kensington Swan, joined the board in July 2022. His extensive experience in legal, financial, and governance roles within charitable and educational organizations enhances the Trust's strategic capabilities. Matthew and his family are active contributors to the community.

Carrie Eady
Trustee
A Life and Health Insurance Advisor, Carrie joined the board in late 2022. Having supported Kids in Need Waikato since its inception, her networking skills and commitment to the community are valuable assets to the Trust's ongoing efforts.
